Please stop this nonsense of calling a business data-driven.

Customer-driven, human-centric or purpose-driven are the type of words you should be using instead. If you can’t, presumably because you are not credible, then consider being quiet instead. And perhaps get to work in ways that put people and planet at the center of your attention. Not data. Not KPIs. Not EBITDA. 

Numbers/data are not the reason we do stuff. They are at best one of several ways to assess results. Man have we gotten things backwards in our contemporary business culture.
