I'm not a fan of nuclear power. In fact I'm dead against. But in the spirit of an open debate here is an argument for going nuclear.
There are a lot of assumptions to be challenged around energy use. It can't all be about shifting from fossil to renewable (or nuclear), or? Shouldn't one parallell strategy also be to radically reduce energy usage…? I'm aware this comes out as negative for growth ambitions. But I'm all for challenging that assumption also – while we're at it, so to speak.
The question I'm left with is: what do we really need?
