I’m re-reading Daniel Quinn’s book Beyond Civilization for the sixth or seventh time. Very thought provoking. I mean, just the title get to you! Does he actually mean there is something better than what we have…? Or that something ”naturally” comes after this period of human life we have called civilization…?
Anyway, I get new insights each time I read it. And he has put the book together really well. Almost irritatingly well. I wish I had his capacity to think.
I’ll be back with my thoughts about the book when I’ve read through all of it again.
