A toll fee has been introduced in August for driving cars into Stockholm City. When I took the bus this morning for my 35K ride to Stockholm I noticed that the parking lot at the bus station was full – and more. Cars were parked in grass areas and in ditches. A good indicator of changed behaviour. But the freed up space in the city has generated space needs outside the city. Zero sum game for space. But positve effects on CO2 emissions? Hopefully. Now it is up to the parking lot people to meet the new demand…
